It is now 8 o'clock in the morning, and no one has come onboard either to give an answer or to bring provisions of any kind, or anything else.

Consul that you will take such steps as you may think fitting, in order that permission may be given to remove the sick man that I have mentioned to the hospital, and that whilst this is being done means may be adopted to provide the vessel with a daily supply of fresh provisions, which are absolutely necessary for the several messes of those on board of her.
It is half past eight, and I have just received the enclosed order, which I beg you to have translated in order that it may be exactly obeyed.
